Andre Yoga (b.1994, Denpasar) draws inspiration from the mundane and the extraordinary facets of everyday life. Andre uses visual collages in his paintings to depict socio-cultural events and issues, creating a layer of meaning and juxtaposition that provokes viewers to connect the dots between the familiar and the unknown. He weaves together imageries and visual elements that do not usually coexist together, influenced by pop culture references and his own Balinese roots.
