Justian Jafin W was born in Surabaya, East Java, on January 11. He began his formal education at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Fine Art, with a major in Painting at ISI Yogyakarta in 2008. Jafin creates his works based on ideas and concepts. As a result, we encounter various possible forms of artwork in each of his presentations. Sometimes Jafin executes his ideas in the form of installations or object art, but most often, his work manifests in the form of painting. In addition to placing art within the framework of ideas, the contextuality of his work serves as the main axis of expression in every heartbeat of his creative process.
