Address:

Written by Wahyudin

Consisting of 15 works—14 paintings and 1 drawing-relief—from 11 Indonesian artists across generations who live and work in Yogyakarta, Bali, and Jakarta, Vestige aims to present works of art that reflect the processes or forms of change.

Vestige means faded trace of what has passed. The exhibition offers an opportunity to pay attention to changes and new habits that have emerged from an uncertain period. Featuring works by Agus TBR, Entang Wiharso, Galam Zulkifli, Galih Reza Suseno, Heri Dono, Ida Bagus Putu Purwa, Jumaldi Alfi, Kemalezedine, Nano Warsono, Ronald Manullang, and Ugo Untoro, each will present works as a form of assessment of the causal relationship between the pandemic period that has been experienced and its influence on the artists' thinking and working patterns.
