lupakan Wianta

Solo Exhibition

8 June – 14 July 2024

Galeri R. J. Katamsi, Yogyakarta

Pameran ini menampilkan pusparagam lukisan dan gambar karya Made Wianta serta buku, foto, dan video performance art Made Wianta dan tentang Made Wianta sebagai apa yang disebut Ernst van Alphen (2015) “pemanggungan arsip” (staging the archive).

Di sini, lukisan, gambar, buku, foto, dan video performance art karya Made Wianta dan tentang Made Wianta diusung bukan hanya laiknya “karya seni arsip” (archival artworks), melainkan juga sepantasnya seni berkarya (art work) seorang perupa yang setia dan dustanya bergantung pada keindahan yang tulus dan tahu diri.

Monstrous Mastery

Solo Exhibition

2 March – 5 May 2024

Tirtodipuran Link Building A, Yogyakarta

“Behind the concrete walls, amidst the ceaseless noise of the city, lies another world that inhabits the human imagination. The fusion of monstrous figures and technical prowess gives birth to a harmonious blend of diverse elements and principles of visual art in the city's darkness. Darbotz carves a story onto the urban canvas, stirring the imagination about the harshness of life in the concrete jungle, manifested in the form of boldly and maturely presented Monsters.”

Group Exhibition

Tirtodipuran Link Building A, Yogyakarta

The exhibition title takes from three abbreviations of Latin origin used in English, namely e.g., i.e., and etc. The first two abbreviations are used as the perspective to observe the artists and their artworks in this exhibition, specifically how they use their artwork to share experiences–contexts or “say/state” something to the audience. The last abbreviation presents a closing reflection for the audience on this exhibition.
