Saputra, M. Alfariz, Ronald Manullang, Riono Tanggul, Timoteus Anggawan Kusno, Wisnu Auri, and Wimo Ambala Bayang. Bringing together diverse artistic voices, the presentation unfolds through a shared red thread: an exploration of the restless movement of the mind, which so easily loses focus and shifts rapidly from one thought, place, or memory to another. Within this condition, thought requires both an outlet and an antidote.
The outlet emerges as a space where wild, fragmented, and unrestrained thoughts are given form—where imagination, uncertainty, and inner turbulence can exist freely through artistic expression. The antidote, meanwhile, lies in the effort to recover self-awareness: a return to the recognition of oneself as the holder of authority, capable of regaining control rather than being carried away by unstable mental currents. This dual movement between release and restoration positions exploration itself as a vital force of creativity, one that fuels artistic innovation, personal reflection, and the continuous pushing of boundaries toward new possibilities.
This spirit of exploration is further embodied in the visual journey of human existence presented across multiple canvases. Each canvas carries a distinct abstract composition, representing singular moments, memories, and emotional fragments. Seen up close, these images may appear random and chaotic, mirroring the unpredictable nature of lived experience—joyful, painful, and everything in between. Yet together, they form a larger constellation, revealing how every fragmented event contributes to the shaping of identity, often only becoming legible in hindsight. In this way, the presentation offers both a meditation on the mind’s scattered pathways and a reflection on art as a means of gathering those fragments into meaning.
